Dayton Family - это хардкор рэп-группа зародившиеся во Flint'е, Мичиган. В эту команду входят состоит из Shoestring, Bootleg, Jake The Flake и Ghetto E. Дэйтонцы назвали себя так в честь одного из улиц "Dayton Ave", известной своей печальной славой . Группа выпустила свой первый альбом "What's on My Mind?" в января 1995 г. Далее они выпустили еще 4 альбома. Но к сожалению, Bootleg и его команды не достигли 
вершины славы, N.W.A., EPMD, Too Short и т.п. Так же группу мучила проблема с законом несколько лет. Но несмотря на это очень хорошая группа, и стоит Вашего внимания.

DJ Muggs из Cypress Hill готовится к новому проекту!

DJ Muggs, fresh off the heels of a national tour for Sauza Tequila, is now back in the studio and has recently finished tracks for Bun B of UGK, Cashis, Mitchy Slick, Planet Asia, Killa Kyleon, and La Coka Nostra. In preperation for the new Soul Assassins album, due out July of 2007, Muggs is gearing up for the Diamond Supply Co./Soul Assassins Mixtape which will be sold along with a limited edition Diamond & S.A T-Shirt. Diamond is one of the world's leading brads in the skateboard industry.

Recently Muggs has signed a deal to have Soul Assassin Radio in 6 territories in Australia. S.A. Radio is a straight hip-hop radio show that features exclusive hip-hop from the west coast as well as the rest of the nation.

Currently, you can catch DJ Muggs on tour in South America, promoting the Soul Assassins/Angeles Records brand, and in all the top music publications as head of promotions for Mackie mixers and sound equipment. If that isn't enough, Muggs has also recently scored scenes for the movie "Harsh Times", from the creators of "Training Day" and "The Fast and The Furious", which will hit 1,200 theaters in March 2007.

Right now you can check out the new DJ Muggs single featuring Mitchy Slick, called "Got Snow", off the Soul Assassins 3 Kreased Khakis edition mixtape. Muggs can also be heard every Monday night on Sirius radio's Shade 45 with his Mash-Up Monday's show that airs at 10pm Eastern time.
